Lamont A. Hogans, Sr. was appointed pastor of New Life Community Church on April 16, 2012.

He and first lady Jacqueline L. Hogans have been happily married since 1982. Together they have been blessed with three adult children and six grandchildren.

Pastor Hogans served New Life as the minister of music from 1998 - 2012. As music minister, he led the praise and worship team every Sunday in a passionate, contemporary praise service. Over the years, he and the team have been blessed to minister in many different venues and cities, as far away as Nassau, Bahamas.

Pastor Hogans believes God always has a relevant, 21st century, contemporary word for His people. “God is neither perplexed nor speechless in this high tech, instant communication, and high stress world that we live in” says Pastor Hogans.

Pastor Hogans is a graduate of the United Methodist Church's Course of Study Program and is appointed to New Life as a local pastor.  He also holds a Florida license as a registered respiratory therapist, and is a graduate of the University of North Florida with a Baccalaureate degree in Business Administration.
