Prayer is the Key!

January 2020 is “Prayer is the Key“ month at New Life. Strengthen your prayer life- join us for a 12-week study on Prayer starting this Wednesday (1/22) at 6pm. The name of the book is “Psalms Prayers of the Heart” by Eugene H. Peterson. It can be purchased at Amazon

 

NE District Lay Servant Ministry Training - Spring 2020

Classes will be Saturday, April 18, 2020 (9 a.m. - 5 p.m. - check-in begins at 8:30 a.m.) and Sunday, April 19, 2020 (3 - 5:30 p.m.) with lunch and snacks provided on Saturday. The classes will be held at Spring Glen UMC | 6007 Beach Blvd | Jacksonville, FL. Class sizes are limited to 15 students per class. Cost is $30 per person. Be sure to register early, contact Pam at 904-396-3026. NO walk-in registrations please

Young Life weekend Camp

Southwind Young Life Weekend Camp: The camp will be January 31 thru February 2, this is an amazing weekend attended by High School students from all over the Southeast. The activities include a water recreation area, kayaks, basketball, disc golf and so much more! Child Youth Policy Training

This class will be offered Jan. 23, 2020, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. at Yulee UMC, 86003 Christian Way, Yulee, FL 32097 in the fellowship hall, and Jan 23, 2020, 7 pm-9 pm at Lake Shore Family Fellowship UMC, 2246 Blanding Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32210 in the sanctuary. The training is FREE to attend, but please register online so we can prepare enough materials and ensure each space is set up appropriately.
