Church Announcements for the Week

Children’s Ministry

Parents of children between the ages of 2 and 10 are invited to enroll their children in Children's Church. The Children's Church meets on the second and fourth Sundays of each month at 10:30 AM in the children's ministry room. If you need directions to the room, please speak with a church usher for assistance.

W.H.Y. Ministry

The W.H.Y. Ministry provides homework assistance every Wednesday by appointment. In addition to tutoring, there are two upcoming opportunities for youth: Digital Multimedia classes and the Teen Ministry Explosion event. Volunteers are welcome and encouraged to sign up; a sign-up sheet is available on the back table. If you need more information or wish to participate, please contact Sister Monique Highsmith.

Senior Ministry

Seniors, we are delighted to share that one of our guests, young Brother Paul, age 11, was the champion of the 2025 Senior Cup games held on October 25th. His impressive skill with the bamboo fishing pole earned him the real cup! Thank you to everyone who participated in this Heavenly Harvest intergenerational outreach opportunity. Seniors who have not yet completed the 60th Plus Ministry Survey are encouraged to provide their feedback. For details about the survey, please see Rev. McDuffie.

Thanksgiving Baskets

This season, New Life will donate twelve Thanksgiving baskets to families in need. A list of items needed for these baskets is available on the back table. Please sign up for the items you wish to contribute and specify the quantity you are able to donate. Donations can be brought to the church on Monday and Wednesday this week between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM, on Sunday, November 16 during the service, and on Friday, November 21 between 9:00 and 11:00 AM. Families in need can be nominated until Sunday, November 16. Basket distribution will take place at New Life on Sunday, November 23, immediately following the worship service. Everyone is encouraged to participate and help make Thanksgiving a memorable occasion for others. For further information, please contact Sisters Connie Simmons, Shirley Stephens, or Mary Polk.
